Vampire Christmas Hiaku

by Mellisa Holler (copyright 2010 Melissa Holler -- all rights reserved)

The Greatest Gift

My vampire love.

This Christmas will you drain me?

Then gift me your blood?

Santa Has Other Ways

Can’t come through a door.

He comes down the chimney.

Comes to drink from me.

Refill

It’s that time of year.

Wash cookies down with blood.

Get more from children.

The Magic of Santa

My blood is a gift.

Given only on Christmas.

It let’s Santa fly.

Kisses

Walking away weak.

Kiss from under mistletoe,

Fang mark on my neck.

No Need for a Door

Hoofs sound from the roof.

He came down the chimney.

No door? No invite.

Real Santa

Fangs elongate from;

The jolly fat man in red.

He drank from me.

Questions

Sitting on his lap,

Asking for new toys and dolls,

He asks to come in.

Flavor

Drained Santa dry.

Cookies added to the taste,

Presents gone to waste.
