Porphyria: The "Vampire" Disease

Porphyria is a disease which is often linked to vampirism, with its early (century-wise) sufferer's often accused of being vampires. One must assume that this was because of the iron deficiency and the urination of blood, oh, and perhaps the allergy to sunlight?

This particular PDF (if you lack the program, it is freely available online) was designed by a friend of mine for a college Biology class. As such, it is succinct, covers the major topic areas, and gathers a whole bunch of research into one handy location.
