Goth Christmas Bling: Jeweled Spiders for Socks
Christmas is for all creatures, large and small, and they all like to dress up for the holiday. Even the smallest creature, the spider, wants a bit of bling so it can look festive hanging around on your Christmas stocking. These small black plastic spiders have the seasonal look down. They are ready to party. They got bling! The spiders are just over two inches, and they have tie-tack posts for ease of use. The jewels are fake, of course, and vary: green, blue, and red – selection will be random, sorry. These are NOT suitable for young children since the legs, pin, and jewel are all choking hazards. But they are fun.
Back Story if you want it: As with most people who have lives (or un-lives), I have a story. Just over five years ago I was diagnosed with stage three cancer. Post surgery and into chemo, I kept myself sane by producing Goth jewelry. I was going to make my fortune. Well, as things turned out, I am still alive, still poor, and have a huge stock of jewelry (I am nothing if not prolific). These spiders – were they real spiders – would have bit the big one long ago. But like children who refuse to grow up and move out, they have refused to find a new home. Honestly, they need to crawl out and serve the purpose they were designed to serve, decorating Christmas stockings. (Yeah macabre, I know. You should hear me talk grammar!) Cart is set for USD. Shipping is set for $1.25.
